Housing

Everyone deserves safe and secure housing. If your accommodation is not secure, or if you’re at risk of eviction, this can damage your health and wellbeing. This is particularly true if you’re living with HIV or Hepatitis C which each come with health challenges.

At Waverley Care, we understand that housing can be a particular concern for people living with HIV or Hepatitis C. This may be because of financial difficulties resulting from ill health, poor housing conditions exacerbating ill health or harassment that affects your mental health. We can offer advice and support to help solve your housing issues and concerns.

The issues we can provide help with include evictions, homelessness and emergency accommodation, housing and other accommodation-related benefits, and adapting your home due to changes in your physical mobility. We can help you to understand your rights and responsibilities around housing and find somewhere safe that you can call home.

If you’re not sure which service to contact, please get in touch with your nearest office.
