Children and Families
The Children and Families project has been providing confidential support to children and young people affected by HIV for over 17 years.
We recognise that during periods of stress children and young people need to be heard and, like adults, sometimes require a safe space to do this.
Working in partnership with people is a central aspect of the work we do and we value input from children, young people and their families.
The support we offer includes
- Individual Support
- Group Support
- Playschemes
- Residentials
- Home Visits
Through our individual support, we have helped families with issues around disclosure of living with HIV and pre and post bereavement work. We work in partnership with a wide range of organisations in order to give the best all round support to families.
All services we offer are provided in a safe, confidential and secure environment.
More recently we have been working with young people who are themselves living with HIV. We are offering individual, peer, residential and home support.
