Employability and Skills
Many people living with HIV and/or Hep C either don`t have a job or have concerns about working, returning to work or disclosing their positive status to their employers. This could be because of poor health or fear of discrimination.
The employability and skills service works with and supports people to increase their skills and confidence to enable them to engage in:
- activities
- training or education
- volunteering
- work
Positive Scotland also provides training and information to employers about HIV and Hep C, and offers support around the rights and responsibilities of employing people with HIV and/or Hep C.
