Waverley Care Hero 2009

Our first Waverley Care Hero award was presented to Joy Graham Marr in 2008. This year’s hero is Lisa Vickers who has been a volunteer with us for the last three years. In that time Lisa has volunteered at reception at Milestone and chaired the Champagne et Chocolat Ball Committee in 2007. She has spoken at a number of high profile events and been tireless in her promotion of the needs of people living with HIV and of Waverley Care. Lisa is better known to some folk as the US Consul General to Scotland.
