Great news from The Big Lottery

17 Jul 09

Great news from the Big Lottery. The Big Lottery has awarded £768,000 to a partnership bid between Waverley Care and Terrence Higgins Trust Scotland for a four year project.

Positive Scotland will work with people with HIV and/or Hepatitis C at the key transition points in their lives – diagnosis, returning to work and entering older age.

Director David Johnson said: "The partnership allows the project to be Scotland-wide and will include working with older people's agencies in recognition of the fact that people living with HIV or Hepatitis C are living into older age. It is a really exciting opportunity for us to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we will work with."
