World Hepatitis Day 19 May 2010

The World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) together with The Hepatitis C Trust and five NHS Boards have organised a week of events around Scotland to highlight World Hepatitis Day.  Waverley Care has been involved in planning the events in Edinburgh on World Hepatitis Day.   

A London bus will tour Scotland during the week May 17th until May 21st to raise awareness of Hepatitis C and carry the World Hepatitis Alliance messages to local communities.

The bus will be manned by nursing staff and patients. They will provide information and contact details for local services and tell their own story about hepatitis C.
