Marathon madness

Once again this year Edinburgh provided a scorching day for the Marathon and our brave runners took to the streets to take part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon and the Hairy Haggis Team Relay.

This year Chrisie Borg ran the Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise money for both Waverley Care and Living Hope Community Centre.

We also had two Hairy Haggis Relay Teams, our regular runners Motley Crew again showing off their running prowess by pipping the other relay team at the post. (Pictured top right - Motley Crew felt that an older photo showed them in a better light!)

Our second team was headed up by Adrian and Sonia, our bucket shaking supremos from last year's Fringe, along with Stephen and Susan the willing accomplices. A word of thanks also for original team member Morag who had to pull out due to injury but was there on the day to provide a superb chauffeur service to the team. (Pictured bottom right)

Overall our runners have raised a fantastic amount of approximately £3000 to help support people in Scotland affected by HIV and Hepatitis C.
