Gaycon 2010 'A Great Success'

Opening GAYCON 2010, the 3rd National Conference for Gay Men's Health and Wellbeing, was Minister for Public Health, Shona Robison.  Ms Robison said,“Scotland is leading the way in terms of an integrated approach to prevention, treatment and care of HIV, however, men who have sex with men are still at particular risk of infection”.

The conference received keynote and plenary addresses on current epidemiology, understanding HIV prevention, and on sexual networks. Other sessions covered wider health and social determinants, as well as a range of interventions.

Organised by a range of organisations, including Waverley Care, the conference reports are a comprehensive resource for anyone working in the field of HIV.
