NAT Survey - HIV Related Symptoms. Can you help?

NAT (National AIDS Trust) are doing some research about the impact that HIV-related symptoms have on daily life, including work. They are particularly interested in symptoms that are not constant, but vary over time. 

If you are living with HIV, NAT would be very grateful to you for filling out a short (10 question) anonymous online survey about HIV-related symptoms . Click here to access the survey

The findings of this research will help NAT advocate for the needs of people living with HIV who apply for illness and disability-related benefits. In particular, it will inform recommendations to the second annual independent review of the Work Capability Assessment (the second Harrington Review). NAT have been asked to sit on a working group which will recommend changes to the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) to more accurately and fairly assess people with fluctuating conditions, such as HIV.

NAT would also welcome other evidence about the impact of fluctuating symptoms on the lives of people living with HIV, including case studies and details of other research in this area. It would be particularly helpful to hear about the experiences of people who have HIV-related symptoms that vary who have applied for Employment and Support Allowance and gone through the WCA.
