50th Anniversary Award for Waverley Care

Waverley Care is one of a number of charities in Scotland to receive an award in celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Robertson Trust.

A total of £75,000 will be given to Waverley Care over a period of three years, enabling us to open a new African Health Centre in Glasgow.

Building on our existing work with the African community in Glasgow, the new African Health Centre will offer one-to-one support, as well as space for group work and social activities. Outreach and prevention is also an important aspect of the project and the new premises will enable us to work more closely with community-based organisations, working with them to raise awareness of HIV.

We have been grateful to receive support from The Robertson Trust over many years and are delighted to have been selected as one of 37 recipients of their 50th Anniversary Awards.
