Complementary Therapies: Report

Huyen Thanh Dinh studied International Health, with a focus on HIV/AIDS and development, as a masters student at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.

During her time in Edinburgh, Huyen volunteered with Waverley Care offering support at Waverley Care Milestone and co-facilitating the Women’s Group.

During this time Huyen completed research into our Complementary Therapies service which is offered by volunteers. Huyen spoke to volunteers and many of our service users who use the therapies. Huyen has now returned to Vietnam and is actively involved with local HIV/AIDS charities.
