Residential Support

Short-term residential support is provided for people living with HIV and/or Hepatitis C at Waverley Care Milestone.

There are a number of times and situations when people may benefit from residential support such as

• whilst experiencing a decline in physical health
• when struggling with depression or anxiety
• when commencing or changing drug treatments and side effects are stabilising
• if a high level of care is needed at home and a period away may provide a break for carers.

Overall a period of residential care and support can be extremely beneficial to the ongoing physical health and emotional well being of someone living with HIV.
