Meadows Marathon 2012

New Year's resolutions are for softies! This year why not get ahead of the crowd and start early.

We're looking for runners for the 2012 Meadows Marathon which is taking place in Edinburgh on 4th March.

The Meadows Marathon is a marathon, half-marathon and fun run rolled into one. You can pick the event that best suits you, if you fancy the challenge of the full marathon but your friends would rather stick to the half, no problem! The route is based around the meadows in Edinburgh so your friends just run fewer laps than you.

This circular course means that you're always going to be close to water stations, first aid and of course supporters to encourage you. There will also be plenty of entertainment to take your mind off the running.

The Meadows Marathon is organised by Edinburgh Students Charities Appeal with all the money raised going to support good causes. ESCA volunteers do all the work which means that the entry fee can be kept low at only £15 and you can choose to support any charity close to your heart - we'd love it of course if you chose us!
