London to Paris Cycle May 2012

09 May 12 - 13 May 12

Where: London-Paris

In July 2011 Waverley Care's own Children and Families worker, Lynne, took part in the challenge of a lifetime - to cycle from London to Paris.

Now she's been bit by the cycling bug she's decided to bike the length of the UK next year! We're looking for people to follow her example and take part in next year's London to Paris Bike Ride - who knows you might find you get bitten by the cycling bug as well!

The first London to Paris trip leaves on the 9th May returning on the 13th. (Trips run monthly through to September). You'll leave from Crystal Palace in London and cycle to Dover to catch the ferry on the first day, followed by 3 days cycling through the French countryside before finishing at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

You'll have to have a reasonable level of fitness to take part in this challenge but we'll provide you with a training schedule to help you on your way. We ask all our cyclists to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship to cover the costs incurred and to support our services. The minimum amount is £1,400 and we'll provide you with fundraising tips to help you get started.

If you're interested in taking part you can find out more by downloading our Information Pack or contacting Jane in the Fundraising Team on 0131 556 9710 or jane.griffin@waverleycare.org
