We are delighted to welcome back the ever-popular Stephen Doughty, who will guide singers through the very best in choral music over the course of an afternoon rehearsal and early evening performance.
From Parry’s powerful “I was Glad” to Verdi’s beautiful and moving “Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves”, this event has something to suit everyone and gives a rare opportunity to explore a wide range of musical styles.
If you can read music and would like to join us for our Come and Sing Choral Favourites, please register in advance.
Most of the music for the event will be contained in a special souvenir booklet which is free of charge and which you are welcome to take away with you on the day. If you are keen to do some practice before the day, for a cost of £5 to cover our admin and postage, we can send one to you in advance. These will be posted week commencing 1 May up until Monday 29 May so please ensure you register in time.
