A year in the life of Waverley Care

This week, we’ve released our Annual Review – a round-up of our work and achievements supporting people living with HIV or Hepatitis C in Scotland during 2014/15.

It was a landmark year for Waverley Care as we concluded our 25th anniversary celebrations – a great opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made. Today in Scotland a person living with HIV and on treatment can expect to live a long, healthy life while someone living with Hepatitis C can be cured.

Despite medical advances, the need for our services remains as great as ever and in 2014/15 we continued to evolve in order to ensure that service users are empowered and properly supported.

In the Annual Review, you can read more about the work we’re doing across Scotland to reduce new HIV and Hepatitis C infections, get people diagnosed, challenge stigma and provide support.

A huge thank you to the many individuals and organisations who have supported our work over the last year.
