A healthy lifestyle, including keeping active and eating well, can have a hugely positive impact on your health and lead to all kinds of improvements. If you eat well and exercise regularly you can even reduce the risk of contracting a wide variety of health conditions, and you will see improvements in both your physical and mental wellbeing.

At Waverley Care, we believe that if you are living with HIV or Hepatitis C, making changes related to your health and fitness can also lead to improvements in how you manage your condition. For instance, exercise has been proven to reduce stress, help us cope more effectively with anxiety and depression, improve sleep and boost our self-esteem.

We have a range of activities, groups and one-to-one support to enable you to make positive changes in your life and health. We understand that making lifestyle changes can be daunting, but you can be any level of fitness, with no existing fitness knowledge or experience, and still get involved with our services. We’ll work with you at your own pace to support the changes you want to make.
