Waverley Care is recruiting Residential Health Improvement Workers to join our care team at Waverley Care Milestone Intermediate Care Unit situated in the Firrhill area of Edinburgh.
Job Title: Residential Health Improvement Worker
Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Reports to: Residential Health Improvement Manager
Location: Waverley Care Milestone, 113 Oxgangs Road North, Edinburgh.
Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 21st September (interviews to take place week commencing 10th of October)
We provide residential support to people who are vulnerable, homeless and living with, or at risk of, HIV or Hepatitis C who have been in hospital or are at risk of a hospital admission.
The service is managed by Waverley Care but is delivered in partnership with NHS, Health and Social Care and other third sector agencies working together to improve the health outcomes for this vulnerable group. The residential care team work as part of a 24/7 rota providing practical, emotional and therapeutic support to those using the service.
