Having previously worked in mental health and supported employment I was excited to apply for a new project called Future Plus at Waverley care to support people living with HIV. I didn鈥檛 think I would get the job but I applied anyway and here I am years later. I have had various posts within the organization over the years
I delivered peripatetic training in retail and admin SVQ 1,2 and 3 in Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway. I moved to a role supporting people in their own tenancies with mental health issues as a Senior Support Worker for Richmond Fellowship Scotland and as an Employment Support Worker with Samh as a national post. I attended Paisley University for my first degree and then did a Post Graduate diploma in Community Education at Dundee University.
I love the fact that every day at work is different and I have meet some wonderful people along the way.
I enjoy cooking when I have time and enjoy going to the gym. I also enjoy art and crafts.
Lots of people although Ada Lovelace deserves her place in history for being the first computer programmer.
