Community Project Worker
Office: 0131 558 1425 • Mobile: 07753 420 309Magda.firstname.lastname@example.org
It was one of the positions on the market at the time, the job description fitted my skills and experience. I knew very little about HIV then but was keen to learn. I remember walking into Milestone and instantly feeling that that was the place where I would like to work – very welcoming atmosphere. I started my work with Waverley Care as a Residential Support Worker and a few years ago I changed positions to the Community Project.
One-to-one work is most satisfying for me. I really enjoying meeting people, learning about their lives and then working together on improving their lives quality. I really like my team as well. Relaxed atmosphere in the office, ability to consult my case load with colleagues at any given moment in a very non-judgmental way is very helpful and supportive. Occasional banter and light chats make a massive difference on the days when I have to deal with difficult cases.
No-one. It the Nature – it's cyclical ever-changing pattern of death and rebirth, it's harshness and beauty.
