2019 is Waverley Care’s 28th year working alongside our friends at the Fringe’s biggest venue, the Pleasance.
Our amazing teams of volunteer bucket shakers have become a common sight over the years as audiences have flocked to the Pleasance Courtyard and Pleasance at EICC each August.
Volunteering is a great way to soak up the Fringe atmosphere, do a bit of celebrity-spotting and meet new people while making a positive difference in the lives of people living with or affected by HIV or hepatitis C in Scotland.
We’re now on the lookout for volunteers to help out at this year’s Fringe. As part of the team, you’ll be collecting donations outside the shows that are supporting us and chatting to Fringe-goers across the venues.
We’re there every day between 1 – 26 August, from mid-afternoon until late evening. Shifts tend to be 2-6pm or 6.30-10pm, but we can be flexible if you can only commit to a couple of hours.
