Writing a will is a very personal assertion of your wishes for the future. Once you have provided for your loved ones, many people also like to remember a cause that’s close to their hearts.
Leaving a gift in your will is a very personal decision and there is no need to tell us if you have included us in your will.
However, if you felt able to let us know of your plans, we would welcome the opportunity to thank you and to keep you up to date with our achievements so that you can rest assured that your gift will make a lasting difference.
Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary or a wedding – help make a difference by asking friends and family to give a donation rather than a gift.
One of the easiest ways to do this is by setting up a Virgin Money Giving page for your celebration and then sharing the link with your friends by email and social media.
Please contact us if you’d like Gift Aid envelopes to allow donations made at an event to go further.
Fundraising or making a donation following the death of someone you love is a great way to keep their memory alive.
People do very different things to remember those who have passed away, from making personal donations or asking others to do so, to taking part in a fundraising event.
If you were to think of Waverley Care at such a time we would be extremely honoured.
If you’re celebrating a special anniversary but don’t want or need any more gifts, you could ask for donations to be made to Waverley Care in honour of the occasion. It would be a brilliant way to mark your anniversary and you would know that you, your family and friends have made a real difference to people’s lives.
