Sexual health on Highland Youth agenda

Sexual health and relationship education was the hot topic as we attended an annual Young People’s Conference in Inverness last week.

Every year, young people from across the region gather for the event, known as the Highland Youth Parliament to discuss issues affecting them.

The event was an excellent opportunity for us to talk to young people about the upcoming launch of our new sexual health education programme.

The new service, funded by NHS Highland will work with young people aged 24 and under across the region, to get them talking and learning about sexual health and wellbeing.

We encouraged people at the event to help us shape the new service by taking part in an online survey to gather their views on sexual health and education. The responses to the survey will help us as we continue to develop the service ahead of its launch later this year.

If you’re 24 or under and live in Highland, we would love to hear from you too. You can access the survey here.
