150K in November – Are you up for the challenge?
This November, we want to see hundreds of people from across Scotland running, walking or jogging 150 kilometres across the month to raise money for Waverley Care.
The 150k in November challenge will see hundreds of people from across Scotland run, walk or jog 150 kilometres across the month, to kick-start our World AIDS Day fundraising campaign.
We’re looking for people of all backgrounds and fitness levels to get involved, so we're making sure you can do this 150k your way - in your own time, at your own pace, and in your local area.
You can sign up now through our Facebook group, where you'll be able to:
- share updates on your progress
- get ideas to boost donations
- find encouragement from the community taking part to keep you going to the end.
Whether you’re needing that wee bit extra motivation to stay active as the nights draw in, or looking to make a fresh start after months of lockdown, this is a great way to get you moving.
And as an added bonus, everyone will also receive a free Waverley Care t-shirt, so you'll look the part as you take to the streets.
The event is being supported by LEAP Sports, Scotland's LGBTIQ+ sports charity.
