HIV Support in Highland
Waverley Care was first established in 1989, with our Highland support services in place since 2010. With over 30 years supporting people living with HIV, we know that having your HIV status disclosed without your consent or knowledge can be a distressing experience, and may impact your mental health.
On Monday 17th June, we were made aware that a breach in confidentiality has taken place in NHS Highland, involving HIV patients.
In light of this information, we want to make sure anyone in Highland affected by the breach knows what support is available to them locally and, how to access it.
