Happy #VolunteersWeek!

We’re taking the opportunity this week to appreciate our 91 amazing volunteers across Scotland, who generously give over 3,692 hours of their time each year, helping people affected by HIV, hepatitis C and sexual health. Our volunteers carry out lots of different roles across Waverley Care – from helping out on reception, bucket shaking and facilitating workshops, to challenging stigma, peer mentoring and befriending. Our volunteer help in every part of our work – and they really make our world go round! To mark #VolunteersWeek and recognise the invaluable contribution volunteers make to our work every day, we asked our staff to say thank you. This is what they had to say:
