Earlier this month we hosted an African Fusion Night – an evening of African music, fashion and culture with a distinct Scottish twist.

Over 270 people from a range of African nations and many other nationalities joined together to celebrate diversity and community.

Entertainment on the night included the Tshwane Gospel Choir from South Africa, an African attire fashion show and a good old Scottish ceilidh. The Gorgie Suite at Tynecastle was a tremendous venue and our guests received the warmest Scottish hospitality.

The evening was a massive success, bringing people together and helping us to raise awareness of our work supporting African communities to access healthcare services in Scotland and to test for HIV.

We are grateful to our partners at SCORE Scotland for their help organising the event, which was funded by the Big Lottery’s Celebrate fund.
