You make the difference – Volunteers’ Week

To mark the start of National Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), we caught up with volunteer, Neil, to hear about what inspired him to get involved in our work. You can read his story here.

Over 100 volunteers donate their time and energy to support Waverley Care, taking on a variety of roles from befriending and outreach support to office administration and fundraising.

Across all of our services, volunteers play a key role, helping us to make a positive difference to the lives of people living with, or affected by, HIV or Hepatitis C.

We are always on the lookout for open-minded, enthusiastic and committed people to volunteer with us and support our work. We want volunteering to be a rewarding experience and provide full training to help you get the most out of your role.

If you are interested in finding out more, visit www.waverleycare.org/volunteer to get in touch.

In the meantime, we’d like to take the opportunity of Volunteers’ Week to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers. Our work simply would not be possible without you!
