Scotland’s biggest board, card, and role-playing games convention is back- and this year, Waverley Care is proud to be the official charity partner!

Tabletop Scotland brings together thousands of gamers of all ages for a weekend packed with open play areas, tournaments, a massive games library, and over 100 exhibitors. Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to the world of tabletop games, it’s a fun, welcoming space to discover something new.

Why We Need You

We’ll have our own Waverley Care charity stall at the heart of the event- and we need friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us:

  • Chat to attendees and share our work
  • Fundraise through games, activities, and bucket-shaking
  • Represent Waverley Care in a busy, positive environment

Every conversation you have will help raise awareness and funds for our vital work supporting people living with HIV and hepatitis in Scotland.

What You’ll Get as a Volunteer
  • Free access to Tabletop Scotland (volunteering for just one shift gives you access to the full weekend of the convention – normally £50!)
  • Free parking available on site (please provide us with your car registration number)
  • Time to explore the convention before or after volunteering
  • The chance to meet like-minded people and be part of a vibrant event
  • Full briefing and support from the Waverley Care team

Shifts Available

We’re looking for volunteers across all three days of the event:

  • Friday 5 September – 12pm to 11pm (stall open until 6pm)
  • Saturday 6 September – 9am to 11pm (stall open until 6pm)
  • Sunday 7 September – 9am to 6pm

(We will be offering shifts in 3 or 3½ hour blocks- but you are welcome to do more!)
