Day of Giving at MAC in honour of Pride Month

MAC’s Viva Glam campaign continually supports us to be there for everyone affected by HIV in Scotland, but on the 9th of June they took this support one step further by creating their own Day of Giving in honour of Pride Month.

This meant that 100% of all lipstick sales were donated to benefit organisations such as Waverley Care, instead of launching their annual limited edition collection of Viva Glam lipsticks.

MAC’s Senior Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer Aïda Moudachirou-Rébois stated that opening up the Viva Glam campaign this year to include over 200 shades of lipstick allows MAC to “broaden their reach and have interesting conversations with even those consumers who may not be aware of Viva Glam”.

We visited MAC Aberdeen to support them on their Day of Giving, offering information and advice about HIV and Waverley Care’s work to staff and customers. We are so appreciative of MAC’s ongoing enthusiasm and passion for supporting Waverley Care, and are excited to continue working alongside them.

Steph and Gaga, based in MAC Aberdeen, love that MAC’s support of Waverley Care can make a “huge impact” on people’s lives, and said this really helps define their “change your lipstick, change your life” motto.
