World AIDS Day is one of the most important dates in Waverley Care’s calendar. It is an opportunity to bring HIV back into the people's consciousness and remind everyone that we cannot move forward without remembering the journey we have come from.
The theme of this year’s Fast-Track Cities conference, hosted in Amsterdam, was Integration and Inclusion for Impact, focusing on reflecting the diversity and variety of innovative approaches to ending new HIV transmissions and supporting people living with HIV, hepatitis and tuberculosis.
Waverley Care's roundtable event, hosted by Miles Briggs MSP and sponsored by Gilead Sciences on 14th September, addressed the challenges and goals of eliminating Hepatitis C in Scotland by the March 2025 deadline.

Waverley Care hosted a Scottish Parliament Reception yesterday evening to mark the launch of our new national campaign, #GetToZero. The campaign is aimed at achieving zero new HIV transmission in Scotland by 2030.
This week, Waverley Care launched new video resources for healthcare professionals on navigating conversations around HIV testing and PrEP with people from minority ethnic communities.
