The Pleasance

Waverley Care and The Pleasance have worked together for over 30 years

Since 1992, our partnership with The Pleasance has raised over £640,000 to support people living with HIV in Scotland.

Our partnership

In 1992, a group of “waifs and strays with buckets” asked the founder of The Pleasance Theatre Trust, Christopher Richardson, for donations to Waverley Care. He believed that our mission needed the support of The Pleasance – support which has continued ever since.

We are proud to celebrate over thirty years of partnership with The Pleasance and are grateful for their ongoing support.

We are incredibly proud to support the charity’s amazing work, knowing these funds help to deliver life changing services to those living with HIV in Scotland. We know there is much more to do and look forward to continuing to support their great work.
